Your first visit to our office will be for the purpose of a thorough oral examination and Dr. McFarland or Dr. Miller’s opinion as to whether orthodontic treatment is indicated. This initial visit provides us with the opportunity to evaluate dental health and provides you with 
the opportunity to inquire about anything relative to treatment. Since you will be receiving an opinion rather than a full diagnosis at this visit, we would like for you to leave our office with the following questions answered:
- What is the condition and will it require treatment?
- Is it time for treatment to begin?
- What length of time will it take to make the necessary corrections if any are indicated?
- What are the estimated costs, what payment plans are available, and how are insurance claims handled?
- Are there any other concerns you may have about treatment?
We want every visit to our office, beginning with the very first one, to be enjoyable. A part of our objective is to capture the interest of our patients from the start, so they will look forward to orthodontic correction.
